Women's Club Members
Circa @1930

Ever since its start in 1913, The Women’s Club of Forest Hills has been an active and integral part of this Queens community. The Community House, 15 Borage Place, in Forest Hills Gardens, has been the home of the club since 1923. A member of the Long Island Federation of Women’s Clubs, we are a group of over 300 women of all ages from the Forest Hills, New York, area interested in social, artistic, intellectual, and philanthropic pursuits. With our fourteen active chapters/special interest groups, in addition to numerous committees, we ensure that the women of Forest Hills enjoy the opportunity to share their many talents and skills while reaping benefits for both themselves and our community at large.

Monthly, a general meeting, open to our entire membership, is held the first Monday of each month, October through May annually. Separately, special interest groups, called “chapters,” meet at various times -- some weekly, monthly, and some bi-monthly -- during these months as well.

Women’s Club members can be as involved as they chose. Each member is welcomed to join one or all of our “chapters” or they can chose to simply attend our monthly general meetings, go on trips, or attend luncheons
-- pick and chose based on your specific interests. Whether you are interested in community happenings, artistic pursuits, languages, gardening, drama performances, book discussions, bridge games, creative writing, parenting issues, or just socializing with your fellow neighbors, we have a group for you.

Please join the tradition that is the Women’s Club of Forest Hills!
